# Do the SQLCipher support the column in the future?

I am wondering do we have the need to encrypt the data on the column-level in sqlite?

Hi @yep_zhang

The Commercial and Enterprise editions include support for limiting encrypting to both [column data](https://www.zetetic.net/sqlcipher/value-level-encryption/), and [table data](https://www.zetetic.net/sqlcipher/encrypted-virtual-tables/), in conjunction with standard full database encryption.
