ISE (Independent Security Evaluators) has recently published a new study on 5 password managers, entitled “Password Managers: Under the Hood of Secrets Management”

It’s an interesting read. I’m not an engineer, but I am very interested in how Codebook might have stacked up against the 5 that were tested. If the Codebook engineers have not read this study, highly recommended. If they have, I would love to hear their opinions about how Codebook might fair when tested for master passwords being extractable from memory, etc.

Thanks,
George

Hi @evnglst

Thanks for using Codebook and posting. My colleague, @sjlombardo posted a reply outlining our take on it over on this discuss post: [Do us codebook users need to worry about this story?](https://discuss.zetetic.net/t/do-us-codebook-users-need-to-worry-about-this-story/3443/4)
