# Request for CodeBook Cloud

I am new to this, but I have been using CodeBook, as well as mentioning it on places like Reddit for years. The sync key is one of the absolute best security features available. Will we still have an option of using Dropbox and other cloud providers once CodeBook Cloud is in GA?

Thanks for your support of Codebook, for promoting it, and for the kind words.

Yes. We plan on not requiring usage of Codebook Cloud and continuing to support the existing manual sync features going forwards for those who wish to continue using them.
