We’re pleased to announce the immediate availability of SQLCipher 4.14.0.

This release includes a critical upstream fix from SQLite [3.51.3](https://sqlite.org/releaselog/3_51_3.html), related to a [WAL-reset database corruption bug](https://sqlite.org/wal.html#walresetbug). **Applications running SQLCipher in WAL mode are strongly advised to upgrade.**

In addition, this release includes some significant updates for SQLCipher for Android, the deprecation of SQLCipher for Windows UWP packages, and other enhancements. The full list of changes is available in the [4.14.0 release notes](https://www.zetetic.net/blog/2026/03/17/sqlcipher-4.14.0-release/).
