UPDATE: As of SQLCipher 4.3.0, the online backup API is now supported. The only limitation is that you need to use it with the same type of database. It supports encrypted-to-encrypted or plaintext-to-plaintext backups, but not mixed types (e.g., encrypted-to-plaintext or plaintext-to-encrypted).
