Codebook for iOS 5.2.3 is now available
This release fixes some crashes reported by Codebook users. Thanks to everyone who took the time to send in the crash reports and provide feedback.
Changes in This Version:
- Fixes crash that could occur when checking for updates
- Fixes button on update check alert not properly opening Codebook in App Store
- Fixes crash that could occur when displaying entry
- Properly updates AutoFill suggestions after customizing labels
- Fixes crash related to autofill_websites is already in use
Crash: autofill_websites is already in use
The most reported crash occurred when choosing a record to AutoFill which didn’t previously have a website associated with the website/app it was filling. When this occurs, Codebook helpfully asks whether you’d like to add the associated website so that the record will show up in the QuickType bar (above the keyboard) next time you go to AutoFill for that website for quicker AutoFilling. The next login after accepting the website, Codebook attempts to add the website to the Entry record. If you had Autolock timer enabled (and it had elapsed) and Biometric authentication enabled, this would cause a crash in certain circumstances.
