Hot on the heels of our new icons update we have a bunch of bug fixes and improvements in Codebook for macOS version 3.5.1. Many of these came from observations made by our eagle-eyed customers, which we quite appreciate.
Changes in this version:
- Adds new Magnify option to fields for large type display (shortcut command+Y)
- TOTP fields are now displayed in red when 3 seconds remain for validity
- Adds tooltips to the Main Window’s bottom frame buttons
- Fixes crash that could occur when a category or entry is no longer present after sync
- Ensures all presented sheets are dismissed when Main Window locks
- Fixes the title of the Sync menu > Unlink item after linking with Dropbox
- No longer automatically recreates default Password label if deleted
- Fixes display of the Add Field control on the Entry edit view after editing labels in Customize Labels
- The Add Field control no longer truncates longer label names
- Adjusts layout of Entry view fields table to fix clipping, improper alignment, and misalignment of TOTP fields
- Updates the color on the Folder and Network Folder icons

If you purchased Codebook in the Mac App Store:
- Visit this link on your Mac
- Click the “View in the Mac App Store” button
- It will launch the App Store app and display the Codebook page
- Click the Install or Update button below the Codebook icon
- When installation completes click the Open button, or launch Codebook from Applications or Spotlight

If you purchased Codebook directly from Zetetic (outside the Mac App Store):
- Download the update
- If Codebook is still running, quit the app
- Unzip the file, drag Codebook to your Mac’s Applications folder
- If prompted whether to replace the existing version, choose Replace
- Launch Codebook from Applications or Spotlight
