Database inside Veracrypt encrypted hidden container

#1

I want to put my codebook database inside a veracrypt hidden container for additional security, how would I go about doing that? I want it so that every time I open codebook, I have to navigate to the veracrypt folder and select the database file.

When the veracrypt volume is mounted, codebook would automatically remember the location of the database and open. When the volume is not available, codebook shouldn’t be able to open my database.

I have a Linux computer and I use KeePassX on it, I could easily accomplish that with KeePass. Don’t know how to do it on Mac with codebook though.

Hi @christopher

Codebook does not support the ability to load the database from an arbitrary location at this time. We will keep this in mind for the future. Thanks!
