Export field order

Hello, I’m trying to export codebook records with the field order. For example, I have stored security question and answers in the following manner:

When I export, the csv contains a single field with all values of that field type. This loses the correlation between the two fields.

I would like to export in JSON or (gulp)XML format. Or, I would like query Codebook with an API, SDK or as a database.

Hi @evan2048,

Thank you for reaching out. We will include an adjustment within the next release to maintain field ordering when exporting data. We plan to have a more robust import/export option in the future.

I just wanted to share that the production version of Codebook for Windows was updated yesterday to include field ordering by index for exports.
