Hi. Just wondering if team Zetetic has a recommendation for good “vault” software for Linux or Windows, for securely storing folders and files.
I use Knox on my Mac (it’s basically a wrapper around the diskutil capabilities with some niceties) but am wondering what’s good otherwise or, if Zetetic might be coding something up!
Hello @rickcogley apologies for the delayed response. I can’t provide an official recommendation, but Veracrypt is a fork of the now defunct TrueCrypt that implements some of the findings from the detailed truecrypt audits, and appears to be actively developed. It might be a good multi-platform alternative to look at.
