This morning alongside a bug fix update to Codebook for iOS (version 3.3.3 is out now) we have a hefty update available for macOS. These adjustments are for the most part house-cleaning but some convenient additions have been made.
Changes in this version
- Updates SQLCipher to version 3.4.1
- Adds a new Export Favorites option under File > Export
- Adds Credits and Copyrights link to the About Codebook information window
- The Run Default Action command in Secret Agent (keyboard shortcut command R) is available on the search results view
- Adds PIN fields to Run Default Action if a password field is not found
- Adjusts observation of editing notes to avoid extraneous saves when no edit has taken place
- Corrects missing first responder and keyboard control on Setup views
- Fixes improper dismissal of Setup view
- Fixes loss of state on the selected Sync type radio button in Preferences
- Fixes improper masking of newly added fields in some situations
- Fixes accessibility of unsupported window tabbing
- Fixes the “missing icon_lock” log message
- Fixes inconsistency in escaping label names in Export

If you purchased Codebook (or STRIP) in the Mac App Store:
- Visit this link on your Mac
- Click the “View in the Mac App Store” button
- It will launch the App Store app and display the Codebook page
- Click the Install or Update button below the Codebook icon
- When installation completes click the Open button, or launch Codebook from Applications or Spotlight

If you purchased Codebook directly from Zetetic (outside the Mac App Store):
- Download the update
- If Codebook is still running, quit the app
- Unzip the file, drag Codebook to your Mac’s Applications folder
- If prompted whether to replace the existing version, choose Replace
- Launch Codebook from Applications or Spotlight
