Codebook for macOS 3.3.3 Released

This update is a bit of a one note song:

  • Includes mitigation for preference persistence bug on High Sierra 10.13.1 :owl:

As some customers have noted, there has been an occasional problem with Codebook for macOS where sometimes it would seem to “forget” the Preferences you had changed, reverting to factory defaults. In High Sierra 10.13.1 this problem was exacerbated by an OS-level bug that is to be fixed in High Sierra version 10.13.2. In the above version we have worked around Codebook’s own shortcoming to ensure that your Preferences are correctly loaded at startup assuming the OS cooperates. It cuts down on instances of the problem on 10.13.1 and it appears to be completely fixed on the 10.13.2 betas (as always, let us know if not!)
