Codebook for macOS 5.3.3 is available now for download and automatic updates.
Changes in this Version:
- Adds support for macOS 26 Tahoe
- Updates app icon for macOS 26
- Ensures users with Touch ID Login enabled can still authenticate with Touch ID when the Password Reminder is in effect
- Fixes crash that could occur during background sync when application is locked and user fails authentication
Well, it was finally time. We needed to update Codebook for macOS to be built against the macOS 26 Tahoe SDK and support the new UI style. This did not involve any dramatic changes on our part. Please let us know what you think.
We did adopt the app icon for Liquid Glass. We’re pretty happy with the results, though it may get some adjustments as we go forward.
We will not be adopting the design style of assigning an icon to every single menu item, doesn’t seem like the right thing to do.
