Samsung Galaxy S10+ Issue?

Twice now since picking up the new Galaxy S10+ (T-Mobile version, 128GB, SM-G975U, Android 9, February update, build number PPR1.180610.011.G975USQU1ASBA) last weekend I’ve had an issue where Codebook (latest Android I think, v3.3.12) has had syncing problems and said it wasn’t linked to my (Google) account. After relinking it it works, but I never had this issue on my prior Pixel 2.
