opened codebook and see 5.3.2 update, after update opened again and asked to update again and again to 5.3.2 Cannot use it because of this anymore. what’s going on?
@AlexPTY Thanks for reaching out to us on discuss about Codebook for Windows and sorry to hear about the trouble. It sounds like something might have gone a little sideways during the recent upgrade so let’s try this to resolve the problem:
On Windows 11
- Go to Start menu > Settings > Apps > Installed Apps
- Search for Codebook in the list
- Click the three-dot menu icon, and choose Uninstall
On Windows 10
- Go to Start menu > Settings > Apps
- Search for Codebook in the list
- Select Codebook in the search results list
- Click on the Uninstall button
Finally, run the installer for the latest version again, you can download a fresh copy of the installer here:

Your Codebook data is stored separately from the application. Uninstalling Codebook will not delete your data.
