5.3. 2 update loop

opened codebook and see 5.3.2 update, after update opened again and asked to update again and again to 5.3.2 Cannot use it because of this anymore. what’s going on?

@AlexPTY Thanks for reaching out to us on discuss about Codebook for Windows and sorry to hear about the trouble. It sounds like something might have gone a little sideways during the recent upgrade so let’s try this to resolve the problem:

On Windows 11

  1. Go to Start menu > Settings > Apps > Installed Apps
  2. Search for Codebook in the list
  3. Click the three-dot menu icon, and choose Uninstall

On Windows 10

  1. Go to Start menu > Settings > Apps
  2. Search for Codebook in the list
  3. Select Codebook in the search results list
  4. Click on the Uninstall button

Finally, run the installer for the latest version again, you can download a fresh copy of the installer here:

Your Codebook data is stored separately from the application. Uninstalling Codebook will not delete your data.
