Are there any plans to add alternate DB endpoints, like say box or spideroak?

We do not have any immediate plans to add additional third-party cloud providers. Could you tell me a bit more about what you are looking for in alternative cloud providers?

Hi @Scott_Hovey, thanks for dropping by the forum. As Nick notes, additional endpoints are not currently on the roadmap, but there are efforts underway to make sync in Codebook a lot better. We’re currently working on a big upgrade to the underlying replication system to make it more efficient (which will allow for storage and sync of binary attachments like images) and more secure (all data stored on an endpoint will be encrypted with a key completely unrelated to your master password, among other improvements). We’ll be adapting the existing features of WiFi, Dropbox, and Google Drive sync to use this new replication system. From there we’ll be in a much better position to look at adding additional endpoints, as well as adding our own background sync service. We look forward to hearing what you’re looking for in a new sync endpoint!
