I am new to this type of software. Does any one have any tips for me. IE More folders vs More Identities?
There is no one right way to configure STRIP, you can always experiment with different configurations until you find one that works for you. Keep in mind as you configure the categories that you create and the entries within those categories, you can define custom fields for any of your entries (i.e., username, password, social security number, note, etc), so if you see something missing, you can add or edit it. Let us know if you have any other questions!
I organize my accounts by categories for what type of access they are for:
- Credit Cards
- Email Accounts
- IM Accounts
I used to have one for all the different web sites I use, but that got to be too large a list, so I started splitting that into categories:
- Web sites
Whatever scheme makes sense to you, that’s what you should use. With the scheme above, I can quickly click my way to a site without having to search very far. That should probably be your goal.
