DB backup separation by category

Hi,

I would like to store credentials related to different companies by using different categories.
In the same time I would like to be able to backup these different categories to separate backup file locations.

I need this because I need to share the backup file location with some other employees that would sync from it.

Backup file separation by category would help me use codebook for several services/companies in the same time and not share with them all the credentials I do save for my personal needs for example in a separate category.

Any idea if this would be possible?

Thanks again for using Codebook and posting with this feature request.

Selective sharing isn’t possible in the current version of Codebook, although it is something that we’d like to implement in the future. One of the first steps towards it is improvements to our current sync system, which is under active development currently.
