Codebook Availability in France - Update

We got some good news last week and we made the announcement on our blog yesterday, but in case you didn’t see it: Codebook has returned to the iTunes App Store in France! :champagne::fr::tada:

N.B. If you’ve been waiting for our return to France you probably knew the app as Strip or STRIP, but these days we call it Codebook. When you update, the red shield icon on your iPhone’s home screen will be replaced with the new blue Codebook icon. This is your app with your data! DO NOT DELETE IT!

The new Codebook iOS icon, replacing the red STRIP shield icon.

We have not been able to legally sell Codebook (or distribute updates to previous customers) in France since about version 1.6 due to changes in French law restricting the import and sale of encryption software. Since then we’ve made a ton of improvements, kept up with the times with a modern interface, added lots of new features, and the app has siblings on other platforms. Codebook is also available on Android, macOS, and Windows, and there’s also a separate iPad app. Learn more here.
