Hi, longtime user, since Codebook was called Strip. Passkeys are more and more widely supported and seem (?) to be more secure, so I want to add my name to those requesting this feature. If i understand this method, I’d like to be able to store Passkeys in Codebook to be able to use my Passkey for a website with my phone, tablet, computer etc. And, I guess also to use Passkey for unlocking Codebook.
Hi @sclwood Thanks for getting in touch about this. Passkey support for Codebook is under development now. While I can’t commit to a specific release timeframe, we are planning to include it in a future version of Codebook. Thanks for being a long time Codebook (and STRIP!) user.
I want to put my name firmly on the list - I was offered a prompt to use a passkey whilst logging into this discussion group! I also have been a user since Strip days. Users will migrate away from codebook. I am storing and using passkeys elsewhere. Microsoft, Apple Google are all pushing their own systems that store passkeys so why wouldn’t I just use those? The only answer is because I am prepared to put up with multiple systems because I like Codebook.
Please prioritise this over pushing cloud storage.
