Hi guys,
is there a way to switch user interface localization?
Mine was automatically switched to Italian by a recent update, but I prefer to use the english one.
How can I do that?
Thanks,
Mirco

Hi @mirmalag
Thanks for your support of Codebook and for reaching out.
I believe you’re using Codebook for Windows, is that correct? If so, the recent release of Codebook for Windows does include localizations based on your system defined language preference. There’s more information along with instructions to override this behavior on this blog post: Codebook for Windows Localization | Zetetic
Let me know if you’re able to use those instructions to get the desired localization you prefer. Thanks!
I did it. Very simple, thank you.
It’s not that italian translation is bad, but some words are translated literally where translation makes little or no sense and the effect is funny
On macOs version translation got more care.
Have a nice Christmas time,

Hi @mirmalag,
Thanks for reaching out regarding the recent localization within Codebook for Windows. I just wanted to let you know we had another long-time Italian customer reach out and offer to assist with corrections to the Italian translations (we are not native Italian speakers). That will be included in our next public release. You’re certainly welcome to switch back to English, but I wanted to let you know of the change that is coming soon in that regard.
That’s great.
For any help I’m available too.
Regards,
Mirco
