Auto-lock not working on Android 6.0.1 after upgrading to Codebook

Summary

I’m noticing since upgrading from STRIP to Codebook auto-locking of the application is not working as expected.

Version

Codebook 3.0.1

Steps to reproduce

  1. Set phone itself to sleep after 30 minutes: Settings -> Display -> Sleep -> After 30 minutes of inactivity.
  2. Open Codebook and login.
  3. Codebook -> Settings -> Preferences -> Use timer -> Checked.
  4. Codebook -> Settings -> Preferences -> Lock after -> 1 minute.
  5. Codebook -> Categories.
  6. Let phone sit displaying Categories for 2 minutes.
  7. Select first entry in currently displayed Category.
  8. Observe that entry was accessible.

Expected

In step 7, expected automatic return to login screen after 1 minute.

Notes

If I attempt to navigate to Codebook -> Settings in step 7 above, I am returned to the login screen as expected.

Hello @lukes92000

The autolock timing period is initiated when either the application is sent to the background by switching applications or going to the home screen, alternatively it is also triggered when the screen display is shut off. I’m sorry if that caused unexpected behavior.
