Codebook for macOS 4.3.4 Released

Today we have our first update available for Codebook for macOS in 2021! Version 4.3.4 includes several bug fixes and a couple of minor improvements that should help with support.

Changes in this version:

  • Fixes WiFi crash when no Sync Key is established
  • Fixes crash when triggering Secret Agent when Codebook is closed and then allowing the AutoLock timer to expire
  • Fixes Magnify Field window layout issue on macOS Big Sur (Thanks Helmut W.!)
  • Adds a Help button to the alert when an error occurs during WiFi sync or a Sync Key isn’t established or doesn’t match
  • New design for Codebook > About Codebook window with larger text
  • About Codebook window now includes distribution variant name (e.g. Direct Download, Mac App Store, Beta)

If you purchased Codebook in the Mac App Store:

  • Visit this link on your Mac
  • Click the “View in the Mac App Store” button if the Mac App Store doesn’t automatically launch
  • It will launch the App Store app and display the Codebook page
  • Click the Install or Update button below the Codebook icon
  • When installation completes click the Open button, or launch Codebook from Applications or Spotlight
