Codebook for macOS 4.5.13 Beta

It’s come to our attention that there’s a bug in how Codebook for macOS handles files dragged from outside Codebook onto the Entry view to be stored as attachments. So far we know that it is happening with the latest version, on macOS Monterey and Ventura, we’re currently unsure if Catalina and Big Sur are also affected but we should know soon.

The 4.5.13 beta will be up soon with a fix for this issue. If you have a chance to try it out, please let us know if it worked for you and what version of macOS you are on.

To test the bug fix:

  1. Launch Codebook for macOS and login
  2. Select an Entry to serve as the drag destination
  3. Drag an image file from Finder onto the Entry view
  4. If the file is a supported image type, it should appear in the Attachments view of the Entry

There’s another issue that’s solved in this version as well. The delete button for Attachments, when looking at the Attachments view in list mode, was not working.
