I updated Codebook on my iPhone 5 a while ago and imported from old version. Now, every time I open Codebook it re-imports the old data. creating duplicates, then triplicates, etc… Which I then have to individually delete. How can I stop this? This did not happen when first updated, only now. 1/19/19
Hi @bobh
Thank you for using Codebook and for posting to the discussion forum, although I’m sorry for the trouble with being improperly prompted to import your old Codebook 2 (Secure Notebook) database on launch. We’ve released an update which resolves the issue: Codebook for iOS 3.6.5 Released - iPad improvements There are also instructions within that post outlining the easiest way to remove the duplicates created by importing.
Let me know if the 3.6.5 update resolves the issue for you (you’re no longer prompted to import your Codebook 2 database on launch) and if you’re able to follow the steps at the bottom of the update post to remove the duplicates.
I’ll be happy to assist if you have any questions along the way. Thanks!
