We’ve received reports (and have been able to reproduce) of Secret Agent improperly inserting long passwords into Safari on certain websites (specifically when using Secret Agent Action/Default Action)
While testing we noticed this issue was specific to Safari with passwords longer than 16 characters (insertion into Chrome or TextEdit appeared to work fine).
We’ve filed a bug report. In the mean time we’ve adjusted the AppleScript used for Secret Agent to “workaround” this issue.
When launching Codebook after the update that contains this adjustment, you will be prompted to allow Codebook to update the script used by Secret Agent. When prompted please select “Update Now” and “Choose User Scripts Folder”
