Unable to upload Sync Lock File

I am running Codebook Version 5.2.5 (4266) on my Macbook laptop running Mac OS 15.4.1 (24E263). I sync via Dropbox.

For the last few days, I’ve been unable to complete a Codebook sync from the laptop. I have had no problems syncing from my iOS devices or from a Mac desktop running Mac OS 15.4.

The error:
Unable to upload Sync Lock File
The operation couldn’t be completed. No such file or directory

I’ve tried deleting sync.lock files from my Dropbox folder, but that has not helped. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you.

@Newton991 Thanks for reaching out to us about Codebook and sorry to hear about the trouble with the Dropbox sync. It’s possible that there is an issue with the authentication token for Dropbox and it needs to be refreshed. In Codebook from the Sync menu, select Unlink from Dropbox and confirm and then try the sync again, it will require you to enter your Dropbox credentials and then allow access to Dropbox and that should refresh your authentication token. If that does not resolve the issue, please contact us at support@zetetic.net so we can look more into the issue.
