Google Drive failing to sync

Did a Windows 10 Sync > Operation > Overwrite to Google Drive today and encountered the following error:

I’m running Codebook v5.3.6. After reauthenticating the gdrive, subsequent overwrites worked. I then attempted a Sync > Operation > Restore from Google Drive on a different Windows machine running Codebook 5.3.6 and got the following error:

I reauthenticated on that host and the Restore from Google Drive worked. I then went back to the original machine, attempted the Overwrite to Google Drive and got the original error again. I did a gdrive > Settings > Manage apps > Delete hidden app data, but that did not resolve the issue. The cycle is repeatable.

I switched to a DropBox sync and both the Overwrite and Restore syncs work fine.

@jhmpub

Thanks for reaching out to us about Codebook and so sorry to hear about the trouble with the Overwrite option, although I wanted to ask if the regular Sync was working between the Windows machine and Google Drive? If you don’t mind, I would love to have you contact us via private support at support@zetetic.net and if you could attach a copy of the log file, we can take a look to try and see what is going on. Ti get the log file, just go to the mneu bar and select Help→View Log Window and then copy that log and paste it into a text file such as Notepad and then add it to the ticket, thanks!

Regards,

Don

Hi @jhmpub,

As a follow-up, can you confirm how many devices you have linked to the same Google Drive account?

9 devices. one master, 8 slaves. logs sent to support@zetetic.net. If logs don’t reveal anything I can play with regular sync at a later time.
