Here’s a request for an improvement:
When I search for a word, I want the title matches to appear first in the search results, before other entries where the search string appears somewhere as a substring like in an email address for example.
I could offer a slight modification that would improve usability: when soliciting the search phrase, include switches for options for data fields to examine for a match; Title, Text, Anywhere, Partial matches, etc.
@s_n Thanks for reaching out to us about Codebook. If you are using the desktop app you can set the search options from the dropdown arrow in the front of the search window. For instance, if you select just “Entry” or title as you put it, and search for something like “Bank” the entry names with “Bank” in them, will always appear first in alphabetical order of the Category. At the current time we do not have any plans to add additional search options to the mobile devices but we could certainly look into it in the future.
