STRIP Sync error 400

I’m using the STRIP program on my i6. I’ve just upgrade to an i8 and downloaded CODEBOOK.

When I try to sync STRIP to Dropbox I get the following error (Dropbox.com error 400)

I can’t sync my devices until I do this. Any help is appreciated.

Hi @TEC

Thank you for your support of Codebook (previously STRIP) and posting, although I’m sorry to hear about the troubles with syncing.

STRIP used Dropbox Api v1, which has since been deprecated by Dropbox, which is why you’re receiving the 400 error. Because of this you won’t be able to sync an old copy of STRIP to Dropbox.

Are you able to update your copy of STRIP to Codebook on your iPhone 6? Here are the steps:

  1. Take a full iTunes backup of your iPhone 6. Apple has good instructions for how to take an iTunes backup here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203977
  2. On your iPhone 6, visit the App Store, search for Codebook Password Manager and tap the Update button.
  3. Open Codebook on your iPhone 6 and attempt to sync with Dropbox.

Let me know if this allows you to get your data synced up. Thanks!

Cheers,
Micah

Thanks, Micah. It worked.
